A: FreedomPay is a new way to pay for purchases in your caf´┐Ż. It is a speedy, convenient and secure alternative to cash.
Q: How does FreedomPay work?
A: FreedomPay works similar to the electronic toll road systems and gas station passes. Simply prepay as little as $10 into your FreedomPay account, or for added convenience, link it to a bank account or credit/debit card of your choice. You wave your FreedomPay tag over the device at the register to pay. The purchase amount is then deducted from your FreedomPay account. When your FreedomPay account is low, simply add more funds!
Q: Who can enroll in FreedomPay?
A: Anyone who uses the café may enroll. This program is also open to consultants and temps.
Q: How do I enroll with FreedomPay?
A:
  • Watch for updates regarding onsite signup campaigns and pre-enrollment kits.
  • During the onsite campaign, sign up tables will be located at the café.
  • FreedomPay Representatives will be available to enroll applicants in the program and answer any questions you may have.
  • FreedomPay will be ready to use right away.
  • If you plan to enroll, be sure to have a valid credit card, bank debit card, personal check or cash available.
  • After the signup campaign, applicants must visit the FreedomPay Web site and log in or call Member Services at 888-495-0222 to further access and customize their account.
Q: How do I add funds to my FreedomPay account?
A: There are numerous funding options available for replenishing your account:
  • Via personal check or money order; simply mail to the address printed on the back of your FreedomPay tag.
  • Via credit card or ACH (electronic bank transfer); simply log on to your account at www.myfreedompay.com or call Member Services at the toll-free number printed on the back of your FreedomPay tag.
  • Via FreedomPay's convenient Automated Funding Service which ensures that your FreedomPay account will never run out of funds. FreedomPay will automatically add funds to your account once your balance reaches the threshold you designate via the credit card or bank account of your choice.
Q: When will I receive my FreedomPay tag?
A: If you enroll with a pre-enrolled membership kit or with a FreedomPay Representative you will receive your tag immediately. If you choose to enroll later, you will receive your tag in 5-7 business days.
Q: Are there any perks associated with using FreedomPay?
A: There are many perks, some of which include the following:
  • Special introductory rewards at participating locations.
  • Faster checkout at the registers.
  • Special promotional offers from FreedomPay (discounts, free items, etc).
  • You could be earning reward points for your everyday breakfast and lunch purchases if the credit card you use to replenish your FreedomPay account participates in a rewards program.
Q: When and how are promotional offers credited to my account?
A: Immediately. If the product you purchased carries a promotion, an immediate credit is applied to your account. Credits are available for viewing on the Web site within seconds of the purchase.
Q: What happens if my FreedomPay tag is lost, stolen or damaged?
A: You should immediately notify Member Services at 888-495-0222. Your old tag will be de-activated and a new one will be sent to you. If your tag has been stolen, you can de-activate your tag at any time by logging onto the FreedomPay Web site. See our Member Agreement for more details.
Q: What do I do if I have forgotten my User Name or Web site password?
A: On the FreedomPay Web site click on ‘forgot your login’ or contact Member Services at 888-495-0222.
Q: How much will FreedomPay cost me to use?

A: FreedomPay is free to join and to use. There are numerous funding options available for replenishing your FreedomPay account. Funding is free via your personal check or money order. Simply mail your check or money order to the address printed on the back of your FreedomPay tag. Unfortunately, with this funding option you will not enjoy the added convenience of the Automatic Funding Service, which ensures that your FreedomPay account will never run out of funds.

There may be a nominal fee for kiosk funding and electronic funding via your credit/debit card or bank account and the added convenience of our Automatic Funding Service. Please see your FreedomPay Representative or our Member Agreement for more details.

Q: How do I keep track of my account?
A: You can check your personal profile, account balance and personal history via the FreedomPay Web site at www.myfreedompay.com or by calling Member Services at 888-495-0222.
Q: Are there any account balance requirements?
A: A minimum account balance (which includes FreedomPay credits) of $2.00 is required to be able to take advantage of FreedomPay promotions.
Q: What if I want to close my account? Can I get my remaining balance back?
A: You can close your account at any time. Contact FreedomPay by telephone for details on how to close your account and get your remaining balance returned.
